On November 1, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Idibek Kalandar, participated in the 22nd Manama Dialogue Security Summit, “IISS Manama Dialogue 2026”, held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, under the theme “Middle East Security: Interests, Integration and Coordination”.

During the summit, participants exchanged views on military and political developments in the Gulf region and the Middle East, ways to resolve crises in various countries around the world, and efforts to ensure security and stability at the regional and international levels.

On 31 October 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin presented the international award “Friendship City Award for Outstanding Partnership with China” to Sijouddin Salomzoda, Chairman of Danghara District in the Khatlon Region.

The award was conferred upon Danghara District during the China International Friendship Cities Conference 2026, held from 19 to 22 October 2026 in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China.
During the conference, participants discussed ways to expand sister-city cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, tourism, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
The award was presented by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China International Friendship Cities Association. It represents recognition of Danghara District’s contribution to strengthening friendly relations and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation with the People’s Republic of China.

On October 30, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the copy of the Letters of Credence from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Nasser Huwaiden Thaiban Ali AlKetbi.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on priority areas of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within international and regional organizations, and expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation of mutual interest.

Welcoming the new Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of Foreign Affairs wished him every success in the fulfilment of his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues related to multifaceted cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Arab Republic of Egypt. Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and make full use of the existing opportunities and resources.

On October 23, 2026, within the framework of the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian Countries and Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin visited the seaport of Batumi.

On October 22, 2026, on the sidelines of the meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Central Asian countries and Georgia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, His Excellency Irakli Kobakhidze.

During the conversation, the Minister conveyed the best wishes of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation.

The Prime Minister of Georgia warmly recalled his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan in June of this year, noting its significant importance for the further strengthening of bilateral cooperations.
