On May 5, 2023, another round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Qatar took place in Dushanbe. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Muzaffar Huseynzoda, and the delegation of Qatar was headed by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

During the consultations, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, investment, tourism, legal, cultural, scientific, educational and healthcare spheres, as well as cooperation between the two countries within the framework of regional and international organizations.
